Hey friend,
My name is Rebekah Carrington unless you know me personally,
and perhaps then its just "Grubbs". I am a Samford alum who now resides back in Tennessee and I
recently married my best friend. I know many people say that but truly, I mean
it. We were {just friends} for almost two years. Everyone knew we were in love
and perfect for each other, I guess we were just the last ones to figure that
out.
We had the most wonderful wedding day at a beautiful barn with some close
friends and family and are now settling into living life together- and it is so
so good.
This
past season, I found myself in some of the darkest pits but the lord's
relentless love pursued me, called me out, and reminded me daily that light was
coming. For us, in those dark valleys the only thing we can cling to is hope.
Whether
we find ourselves in the most relentless bondages of sin, heartache, pain,
fear, or simply discouraged the lord whispers to our hearts beloved, dawn is
coming. Each new day is a testament of his promise as the first bit of rays peak
through and illuminate the sky with a soft glow bringing light to the darkest
parts of the world slowly, steadily radiating until the whole earth is aglow
and then…it is a new day.
